French Toast

Kodachrome covered a lot ground.  Traveling from New York to Kansas with a few side trips on the way.  Ben, Matt & Zooey spend quite a bit of time in diners.    French Toast is always a great choice for any time of day.

French Toast - The GBY

 1 Egg
 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
 ½ tsp Cinnamon
 ¼ cup Milk
 4 White Bread, slices
 Maple Syrup
 Butter
 Fresh Fruit

Beat egg, vanilla and cinnamon in shallow dish. Stir in milk.

Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides evenly.

Cook bread slices on lightly greased nonstick griddle or skillet on medium heat until browned on both sides.

Top with butter, maple syrup and fresh fruit of your choice.
