Charlize Theron is still beautiful as post-partum Marlo, an overwhelmed mother of three. Apparently, Marlo had been working up until a week or so before the movie begins, so I was surprised how uninvolved her husband (Ron Livingston) was with the day to day duties. Tully (Mackenzie Davis), the night nanny, is a great addition to their household. Everything starts to run much more smoothly, including Marlo’s bonding with the new baby. I am not quite sure what Diablo Cody is trying to say with this story line, but I enjoyed the movie. I would be interested in your thoughts in case I missed something.
