I apologize for coming late to this party. A couple of people recommended this movie to us before we went to TIFF. We finally saw it this weekend and loved it. The Peanut Butter Falcon is an original story with a charming cast. It won the Narrative Spotlight Audience Award at SXSW 2019. I never thought much of Shia LaBoeuf (Honey Boy) when he first came on the scene but he is quite appealing as an adult. Zach Gottsagen is delightful and does an excellent job in this pivotal role. Dakota Johnson (Bad Times at the El Royale) is doing a good job of getting out from under the Fifty Shades franchise. Thomas Haden Church and Bruce Dern (Chappaquiddick) are the icing on the cake. If you have time, see this movie before it leaves the theaters. They need to make more movies like this.
